Confession of an Ass

Ladies and Gentlemen it is time to come clean. My post, Ever Had One of Those Days?, was a hoax. An April Fools Day post as it were. The first two paragraphs were absolutely true.  Starting at the third paragraph, Hitting the Loop 101 south, is where I choose to draw the reading public into the foolishness.  I continued the ruse all the way until the last paragraph, We missed Bike Night.

Linda was privy to the fact that I wanted a picture of her with two black eyes for an April Fools post, but had no idea the extent of my plan, or the nature of the post.  As the people started commenting on their heartfelt concern for her recovery, she and I began to feel badly about the post.  Linda asked me repeatedly to confess.  But, I chose to wait, thinking some might be waiting for that confession.

So, I am now confessing and hope that all will accept my explanation about my intent.  It wasn't to hurt feelings or make anyone feel foolish.  Linda wasn't injured in any way and hopefully will recover from my boorish behavior in the next two weeks.
